With the development of the industry and energy resources consumption,producing a series of pollution, abandoned polyester plastic, and automobile exhaust,etc., all of these causes pollution to the environment at different degrees. At present,the rapid development of automobile industry, the number of vehicles is increasing year by year, lots of convenience which brings to people’s life is self-evident, but the emissions from the consumption of petroleum energy to the destruction of the atmospheric environment and the health of human body is obvious to all. Therefore,consumers and manufacturers are keen to low energy consumption and low emission product and research. Through the efforts of several generations and the progress of science and technology, more and more light weight and high performance composites are used in automobile manufacturing, instead of the part of the metal parts, which are used on car body can not only achieve reduce car’s weight and reduce energy consumption, improve energy utilization, but also insulate noise and heat, etc..Based on the current form and the existing research results, the research of this paper is carried on. In this paper mainly utilizes regenerate polyester staple fiber which is made from abandoned polyester material(such as plastic bottles, plastic bags, plastic waste, industrial abandoned plastic, etc.) and conventional polypropylene staple fiber,adopts the existing textile processing technology and production equipment making a fiber composite plate which is used in automobile interiors, its fabrication process in two steps: Firstly, regenerate polyester/polypropylene fiber composite mat is made by using the needle-punched nonwoven technology. Secondly, the regenerate polyester/polypropylene fiber composite mat is shaped by a thermo-compressed process, Due to the low melting point of polypropylene, its hot melt adhesive fluid fiber after cooling to achieve the purpose of reinforcing the regeneratepolyester/polypropylene fiber composite plate. Through single factor experiment study the effect of the ratio of raw material and thermo-compressed process parameters(such as hot-pressing temperature, hot-pressing time and hot-pressing pressure) on the main mechanical properties(tensile strength, bending strength) of the fiber composite plate,so as to determine the best process parameters by tensile strength and bending strength of the regeneration polyester/polypropylene fiber composite plate. At the same time,research the performance about sound-absorbing, sound-insulation, combustion,quantity of formaldehyde releases, heat-insulation and water-absorption of the regeneration polyester/polypropylene fiber composite plate which is made under the condition of optimum process parameters. And then compare this performance of the regeneration polyester/jute/polypropylene fiber composite plate to glass/polypropylene fiber composite plate, glass/jute/polypropylene fiber composite plate.The result showed when the ratio of the recycled polyester and polypropylene fiber is 50:50, the thermo-compressed temperature is 220℃, the thermo-compressed time is 1.5min and the thermo-compressed pressure is 4MPa, made the regenerate polyester/polypropylene fiber composite plate with gram weight is 1437g/m2 and the thickness of 2.11 mm which tensile fracture strength and bending strength reach a maximum, respectively is 24.73 MPa, 24.73 MPa. The sound-absorbing and sound-insulation performance of the regeneration polyester/polypropylene fiber composite plate changes with the incident sound wave frequency. In low frequency scope of the sound waves, the sound-absorbing effect is poorer, and vice is better. In the scope of 250 Hz to 6300 Hz, sound-absorbing insulation performance of the regeneration polyester/polypropylene fiber composite plate is pooler than glass/jute/polypropylene fiber composite plate. The level Combustion rate and the LOI of the regeneration polyester/polypropylene fiber composite plate are 24.9mm/min and18.5%, which is more flammable than regeneration polyester/jute/polypropylene fiber composite plate, glass/polypropylene fiber composite plate, and glass/jute/polypropylene fiber composite plate. In further study or actual use, which need to add the appropriate flame retardant processing to improve the safety. The quantity of formaldehyde releases of the regeneration polyester/jute/polypropylene fiber composite plate is 1.10mg/kg, which is similar to the above three kinds of plate,comply with relevant standards. The heat transfer coefficient and heat preservation rate of the regeneration polyester/jute/polypropylene fiber composite plate are 28.86W/(m2?K) and 22.85% under the temperature of 36 ℃, which are The lowest than the above three kinds of plate. The absorbing water percentage of the regeneration polyester/jute/polypropylene fiber composite plate is 6%, which are the lowest than the above three kinds of plate, which is advantage of dimensional stability and weight unchanged under the humid climate.
