Digital prototype technology is a digital design method based on computer simulation model. As a new product design method and development tool,the digital prototype can greatly reduce and even substitute the trial number and difficulties of physical prototype, and it has advantages of short development cycle, low cost, wide technology involvement and extensive application areas, so it is greatly valued by all kinds of industries. Since bag filter has the disadvantages of complex structure, large size, long traditional development cycle and high cost, so it cannot meet the recent diversified market demand. In connection with these problems, this paper achieves the transformation and innovation of bag filter product structure using the digital prototype technology, in which we greatly shorten the development cycle, reduce the development costs and fit the requirements of different users better. The digital prototype for bag filter is realized mainly through the understanding of the customer needs and the scientific conversion.We integrate a digital platform which includes the interactive information between the design and analysis of filter, digital prototyping model, the design of reconfigurable modular product, performance analysis and visual display, and then complete a series of different schemes of virtual experiments, and finally achieve the goal of verification, optimization and evaluation of product design.The paper studies the key technology of performance test and evaluation for the bag filter, and the platform of digital prototype for bag filter is built based on the modeling software(Gambit),the simulation analysis software (CFD), and the visual display software (CFX-POST).The main work and achievements of this paper include:1.We studied the theoretical methods of the module restruction of bag filter product and the key technology of digital prototype performance test and evaluation;we built the prototyping model for performance testing, restructure evaluation and parameterization evaluation; we devided the module, built the module database, and realized the replacement and restructure of modules;2. We conducted the feasibility numerical simulation analysis for the new filter bag module of the dust collector, and carried out detailed simulation and analysis from airflow speed idealization of single bag room entrance to model transformation. For the analysis of the actual working conditions, we used the boundary contour method of Fluent software, so that we could simulate the internal airflow movement of bag filter in practical work well.3. We conducted the numerical simulation analysis of potential safety risks for the pipe modules before the entrance of dust filter.We found out the main reason which influences the internal airflow distribution and even breaks the bag of filter is the unreasonable entrance pipe structure. Finally we offered an effective scheme for structure tranforrnation.4. Using the dynamic visual display technology, we provided the users with authenticity, made the correct evaluation about the air flow status inside the dust filter model as fast and convenient as possible, at the same time we could make the better promotion for the product.
