This paper describes the use of calcium-red and D290 macroporous strong base anion resin to the formation of calcium red resin. In this paper, the enrichment of Au and Pd were investigated by calcium-red loading resin, and the optimal adsorption condition of calcium-red loading resin to gold and palladium element, the elution conditions and adsorption properties were discussed. The determination of gold and palladium were used atomic absorption method.We have studied factors on the enrichment of gold and palladium by calcium- red resin, confirmed the optimum adsorption and elution conditions through experiment. Static adsorption, We have selected the temperature 25℃, pH=1.0 hydrochloric acid solution as a medium, which can achieve the best adsorption effect; Dynamic adsorption, pH=1.0 hydrochloric acid solution as a medium, the velocity is 0.1 m L/min, the high column is 12.0cm, the adsorption of gold and palladium basically stable,the absorption rate of gold more than 90%,adsorption rate of palladium over 80%. When the temperature 25℃, using 10.0 mL of 0.1mol/L hydrochloric acid-3% thiourea solution by the flow rate of 0.1mL/min for dynamic elution,which can quantitatively eluted gold and palladium on the resin, and the recovery rate of more than 95%, achieving good elution effect. Absorption amount of calcium- red loading resin for gold and palladium are: QAu=51.886 mg/g,QPd=34.284mg/g.By studying the calcium-red loading resin, we have found that the exchange capacity of calcium-red and D290 is 0.41mmol/g, the resin keep good stability under the conditions of the experiment, re-used four times, the gold and palladium can still recovered quantitatively.
