Heavy benzene is by-product of crude benzene hydrogenation process, wash oil is fraction in the process of coal tar distillation. At present, the capacity of coal tar by-product extraction is limited in the country, the resources have not been well developed and utilized. The process of heavy oil hydrogenation is based petroleum fraction hydrogenation, adopts new catalyst for hydro fining and cracking treatment.. This project is not only to overcome the amount of hydrogen consumption, high temperature and bed layer scaling problem for meeting the requirements of the existing processing, but also to alleviate the growing energy demand for a new way to the preparation of clean oil.This paper introduces the current situation of hydrogen technology at home and abroad, and describes the process route of the heavy oil hydrogenation unit, and gradually deepens process flow diagram based on the process simulation, Through using different calculation software as an auxiliary method, discusses related equipment selection and system design. Take energy saving measures to reduce the unit energy consumption, and prevent fire hazards to ensure production safety, and focus on environmental protection to control pollutant emissions, and analyze market trends to reduce financial risks. In the face of oil shortage, improve the comprehensive utilization rate of resources and economic efficiency for the heavy oil converted into high-quality refined oil as much as possible.
