The reaction of hydroxylamine cooler is an important heat exchanger in caprolactam plant. The fluid inside the traditional baffle plate heat exchanger flow along the transverse direction, for that case, it is easy to induce fluid vibration and hard to meet the design requirements of hydroxylamine reaction cooler. Baffle rod type heat exchanger have obvious advantages in heat transfer efficiency, fluid resistance, especially the fluid induced vibration. This paper researchs on the design and manufacture of the baffle rod type cooler of large reaction of hydroxylamine. To provide a reference for the localization of the application of large reaction of hydroxylamine in the caprolactam cooler.The main work is as follows:(1) According to the character of the baffle rod heat exchanger and the the operating parameters of the hydroxylamine reaction cooler, we determine the structure parameters of reaction of hydroxylamine and main components of cooler structure by having a thermal process calculation of the Cooler. (2) In the manufacturing engineering of the heat exchanger, the stiffness of the flow loop is improved by optimizing the structural design of baffle ring. At the same time, we realize the blind wear of large tube bundles in the shell by improving the machining process and the production of the high precision. (3) Theoretical calculation and experimental study on the anti vibration performance of the cooler is made. The results show that the design and manufacture of heat exchanger can meet the requirements of industrial production.
