Metal Organic Frameworks (MOFs) is a new type of porous material, which is composed of metal ions and organic ligands, and it can be expanded into three dimensional structure. MOFs has been used in many ways, due to its unique aesthetic structure and prominent characteristics, such as high specific surface area (can be extended to 6000m2/g huge surface area), adjustable crystal structure and hole size, multifunctional applications. MOF is a product of the combination of organic chemistry and inorganic chemistry with the aesthetics of chemical structure. Due to the unique properties of coordination polymers, MOFs has many applications in catalysis, such as light catalysis, catalytic Cyanosilylation reaction, Knoevenagel catalytic reaction, catalytic oxidation, catalytic dehydrogenation reaction and so on.In the first chapter, we introduced the development of the Metal Organic Framework materials,and their application in catalysis.The second chapter, we introduced the coordination polymers 1 is composed of Ni (Ⅱ) and 1,3,5-three (1-imidazolyl) benzene constructed with 3D polymers Ni(tip)2 is a shape for the green oblique parallelepiped. The crystal structure, molecular formula C30H32N12Ni The compound is monoclinic, space group P21/n, a= 11.2986(19) A, b=17.4760 (31) A, c=12.1669 (22) A, γ=108.03(0)°, v= 2284.4 (7) A3.
