This article strictly according to the synthetic methods and steps of expectations,compound the intermediates of p-xylene-dodecyl Aromatic sulfonic acid. Then through them and get the final series of p-xylene-dodecyl benzene sodium sulfonate molecules.The intermediates and final products obtained by high resolution liquid Chromatograph Mass Spectrometer and liquid NMR characterization. The results prove that intermediates and final products are in line with the original thought and the synthesis of p-xylene-dodecyl benzene sodium sulfonate have high purity.Under the condition of 45℃, measured with a series of different concentrations of p-xylene-dodecyl benzene sodium sulfonate surfactant solution surface tension of the steady-state value by Platinum Ring-Pulling. The results showed that with the benzene ring to move to the middle position of the alkyl chains, the critical micelle concentration(cmc) of the surfactant increased gradually, the value of γCMC decrease constantly. When the degree of branched chain of surfactants grows, the molecules of the coverage will increase, so adsorption area Am is also increase. Due to the hydrophobic chain length is the same, surfactant molecules adsorption ability is similar,so the Γmax is diminish.But also it was investigated on the synthesis of a series of p-xylene-dodecyl benzene sodium sulfonate interfacial properties. First, determine the interfacial tension meter best number of revolutions and the injection volume during the experiment. After the outside conditions unchanged, and measuring different paraffin oil phase and p-xylene-dodecyl benzene sodium sulfonate(0.1wt %) concentration of interfacial tension values, observe its change rule of dynamic interfacial tension. Then,on the same concentration measured a series of p-xylene-dodecyl benzene sodium sulfonate nmin, nmin will be found as a benzene ring moved toward the center of the alkyl chain and showing increase firstly, then quench, and rising trend characteristics.Finally,interfacial tension values were measured at various concentrations of sulfonates,demonstrating that as increasing the concentration of the surfactant solution the interfacial tension decreases, then reaches a minimum and then rises. At the same time,this paper also to all the law of the experiment and conclusion explained in detail.
