Currently, many mines have entered the stage of deep mining.The environment underground become more complex.The driver of vehicle need positioning device to guide the driving direction in order to reach the target rapidly.The staff in the monitoring center also need to know the current location of the vehicle, so they can monitor and rationally manage the vehicles, improve efficiency and prevent two vehicles collided. Ultimately, Control center and vehicle realize two-way wireless communication and real-time positioning.Based on the analysis and research of the existing location algorithms, and according to different scenarios and requirements, this paper design two positioning monitoring systems. Artificial field controlling locomotive positioning monitoring system based on signal strength fingerprint location algorithm and remote wireless positioning monitoring system based on multi-sensor fusion location algorithm. The first system just install the positioning monitoring terminal which this paper disign on an existing vehicle and do not need anyother transformation, The second system need vihicle controller, a data acquisition board unit and some intelligent sensor equipments to be installed on the vehicle.The positioning monitoring terminal using the LPC1768 microprocessor can get the base stations’signal strength around the vehicle by CO2128 that is Wifi wireless communication chip. At first, we must establish fingerprint recognition library by multiple measurements in the underground, and then, we get the coordinate position by the base station signal strength values and displayed on the LCD. Positioning monitoring terminal can also get the current status information of the vehicle via monitoring sensors, and translate the status information to the monitoring center.The positioning result of the system which is based on multi-sensor fusion location algorithm is judged by the datas of the RFID reader, odometer and angle sensor. After the steps of roadway planning, route statistics and remote location, the precise position of the vehicle can be fixed. The status information of the vehicle can be observed at the monitoring center too.This paper firstly introduces the research background, significance, research status and research objectives, secondly detail the bverall structure and function of the wireless positioning monitoring system and elaborate wireless Mesh network, and then analyze the existing wireless location algorithms to compare their advantages and disadvantages, introduce the hardware and software design of the positioning terminal and theoretical knowledge of fingerprint recognition algorithm, then introduce the software and hardware design of the positioning system based on multi-sensor fusion algorithm and realize the vehicle walking by memory. System test results are analyzed in the end.
