Today, more and more people pay attention to the safety of diet. The quality of wheat flour is related to the health of people. Before grinding, wheat cleaning results will directly affect the quality of the flour. Because of the good cleaning effect and the ability to separate the stone, wheat washer have played a crucial role in hygroscopy and abstersion since 1980 s.However, the problems such as the huge water consumption and the difficulty of sewage treatment have been existing, which greatly limits the popularization and application of the traditional wheat washer. Therefore, the structure improvement has become the research object of the manufacturing and the institute of wheat washer. With the emergence and development of the computer technology of virtual prototype, it is possible that optimize the structure of wheat washer and improve the effect of wheat washing.Wheat washing trough and drying cylinder undertake the task of hygroscopy and abstersion. In order to optimize the structure and movement parameters of wheat washer,improve the stability of the structure and the effect of abstersion, the paper adopt a new technique which builds the 3D entity model by Solidworks and use the virtual prototype technology to prove the program’s validity. Then using FLUENT and EDEM to simulate the different structure of flow field. Finally, static analysis is carried out by using the analysis of finite element in auger blade under fluid-structure interaction. The main substance of the article:1. Analyse the key components of wheat washer and washing process. To the late-model wheat washer as the research object, analyse the structure in spiral shaft and waste separation component. Finally, analysis the cleaning process of the wheat washer cleaning under operating comdition;2. Check of the structure of auger blade. According to fluid-structure interactionsimulating of solid-liquid phase in wheat washing trough under working comditions, obtain the stress response information and natural frequency of the blade, which provides theoretical reference for improvement of the structure and function of the wheat washing machine;3. Analyse the impact of structure on the effects of wheat washing. Through orthogonal design test, using SPSS statistical software to obtain data that analyzed with multiple linear regression analysis;4. Optimize the geometrical and kinematic parameters of the impeller. Use Response Surface to analyze the spindle speed, the tilt angle and the pitch factors’ effectt for wheat washing effect, and optimize the parameters of washer structure to achieve the goal of improving the efficiency of wheat washer;In the research of wheat washing machine, the innovation of this paper lies in the simulation experiment of the virtualprotype technology to realize the optimization of the structure of the washing machine. The research results have theoretical value and practical significance for improving the structure and function of wheat washer.
