Laser cutting technology with cutting materials range wide, high cutting speed, small heat affected zone, cutting quality is better, small pollution, processing flexibility is good, laser cutting technology has become the industrial processing applications up to the laser processing technology, accounted for more than 70% of the whole laser processing. Aluminum alloy common on laser has a high reflectivity and high thermal conductivity, aluminum alloy laser cutting is very difficult, however, aluminum and aluminum alloy is the most widely used in industry of a class of metallic materials, it in the aerospace, automobile manufacturing, machinery manufacturing, shipping, and in the chemical industry is widely used.First introduced the basic principle of laser cutting technology and its in the domestic and foreign research and development status, also introduced the basic application of aluminum alloy, analysis of the aluminum alloy laser cutting quality and the factors affecting the heat should force principle, establish the laser cutting sheet metal temperature field mathematical model.Secondly, through experimental research, analyzes the laser cutting effect on mechanical properties of aluminum alloy sheet metal parts; key to laser power, cutting speed and auxiliary gas as the influence factors, through the single factor experiment analysis of the aluminum alloy laser cutting test of ultimate tensile strength, yield strength and elongation. At the same time, the analysis of the laser power, cutting speed and auxiliary gas on laser cutting of aluminum alloy sheet metal hardness and impact toughness of influence. Finally, it is concluded that the influence on the mechanical properties of aluminum alloy sheet metal laser cutting.Finally, the laser cutting of aluminum alloy sheet metal parts of the heat affected zone were analyzed by metallographic analysis, through the aluminum alloy laser cutting heat affected zone of the metallographic structure change analysis, further reveals the mechanism of the laser cutting of aluminum alloy.
