Polymer Gel Plugging Technology Research

In oil and gas exploration and development process of all kinds of complicated cases, lost circulation is affected the drilling cycle and effect is one of the main factors of exploration and development, if the reservoir damage will seriously affect the output of oil and gas Wells.At present most of the plugging agent for big crack, pore type, high temperature, and so on strict malignant leakage has many limitations, according to these situation, this paper studies the rule of the gel of the polymer gel plugging materials and gel with other plugging material distribution optimization and evaluation, and to evaluate its plugging effect, provides reference for the application of polymer gel plugging.Based on plugging, gel materials at home and abroad on the basis of the studies of the research work, determine the experiment scheme, and completed the following work:(1) by polymer gel polymer base fluid concentration, crosslinking rate and temperature under the influence of the main factors such as gel time;(2) with other polymer gel plugging material compound with plugging effect assessment.Indoor experiments show that between 50℃~ 70℃, the polymer gel gelling time can be adjusted within 1 h, with the increase of polymer-based liquid concentration, crosslinking ratio increases, temperature gel time were shorter.Polymer gel has a strong ability to resist high temperature, pressure, temperature of 140 ℃ or more resistance, compressive strength more than 20 MPa, and sand bed strong bonding, sealing tight.TP185X Wells of field experiments showed that the research and development of polymer gel plugging agent when dealing with the leakage has a certain effect, can effectively improve plugging success rate.In summary, the polymer gel has excellent deformability, good resistance to temperature compressive ability, in order to solve the treatment of leakage in the process of oil gas exploration to leakage problems provides an effective way to further enrich related theories, expand more comprehensive evaluation research has a very important significance.
