| For this article, the study object is corn straw and sewage sludge, and its target is to develop a kind of a corn straw and sewage sludge briquetting fuel with good physical properties and combustible performance. It presents a method to make use of the waste resource of the corn straw in our countryside and the waste sludge from the sewage disposals,thus not only solving the environmental pollution problems caused by the burning of the corn straw and also presenting a new way and method to solve the energy crisis in the city. The main raw material of this experiment is corn straw, mixed with a given mass of sewage sludge,and the mixed briquetting fuel is formed with high pressure and room temperature technology.Starting from the study of the basic characteristics of the raw materials, we firstly do the industrial and elemental analyze for the corn straw and sewage sludge in the experiment, then study how the physical properties of briquetting fuel(relaxation density, shatter resistance,anti permeability effect) are influenced by the molding pressure, particle size, moisture content, material ratio, etc. Based on it, from the combustion experiments of the briquetting fuel in different influence factors, we study how the briquetting fuel’s burning rate and weight loss rate is influenced by different mixing ratio and temperature, and eventually identify a better molding processing parameters and combustion conditions, so that to present a valuable referential data for the production and application of it in the future.Molding tests show that: With the increasing the molding pressure, the molding effect of briquette fuel goes better, and the forming requirements can be met when the molding pressure is up to 6Mpa; With the increasing of the moisture content of raw materials, the molding effect of the shows a trend from change good to worse, and the molding effect is best when the raw material’s moisture content is about 9.58%; With the decreasing of raw material particle size, the molding effect of briquette fuel goes better; With the adding in of sludge, the fuel can all be molded, and the more sludge added in, the better molding effect can be achieved; The experiment data identifies that the briquette’s relaxation density, shatter resistance and water resistance index is the best in the condition of the molding pressure of6 Mpa, raw material’s moisture content of 9.58%, raw material particle size of 60 meshes, the mixing ratio of 1:1 of the raw materials(corn straw:sludge).Combustion test show that: the corn straw and sludge briquette’s isothermal combustion process can be divided into initial stage of combustion, the middle stage of combustion and the final stage of combustion. In the initial stage, the combustion rate is fastest, and the volatile concentration can be up to maximum in a short time. In the middle stage, the combustion rate is gradually lowed down, and it’s a mixing combustion stage by the rest of volatilization and a big partial of solid carbon. The final stage is the burning out stage of the briquette. With the increasing of mixing ratio(corn straw:sludge), the briquette’s combustion peak shifts to forward, final weight loss rate increases, the maximum combustion rate alsogradually increases, the burning out time is shorter. When the mixing ratio is 5:1, the combustion performance is best; With the increasing of the temperature in the furnace, mixed fuel’s burning effect is better, the burning out time is shorter, and the burning effect is best at the temperature of 900℃.Through the molding tests and isothermal combustion tests, we identify that the briquette can both have good physical property and combustion performance in the condition of the molding pressure of 6Mpa, raw material’s moisture content of 9.58%, raw material particle size of 60 meshes, mixing ratio of 5:1 of raw material(corn straw: sludge), the combustion temperature of 900℃. |
