The SYNTEC-10 B numerical control system is a high performance cost ratio product, which is developed by SYNTEC Technology Co., Ltd. The CNC system, which has a good openness, is a good platform for the secondary development. The CNC processing of arc tooth spiral bevel gear has many parameters. Changing the gear specifications requires re-establishing the machining program, and numerical control programming is not intuitive, man-machine interaction is poor. In order to solve the complicated problems of NC programming in processing different arc tooth spiral bevel gears and improve processing efficiency, the man-machine interactive interface of the SYNTEC-10 B numerical control system is customized by the eHMI software, making the basic parameters of spiral bevel gear can be put into the machine directly through the screen. Then, it generates the corresponding NC machining program and completes automation processing.The meshing principle and processing technology of the spiral bevel gear are analyzed. The differential method, meshing equation, isometric conjugate principle and the determination of the second conjugate curved surface are described. The principle and method of spiral bevel gear processing, local conjugate principle and the mathematical model of tooth surface are analyzed in this paper. This provides a theoretical foundation for subsequent interface development.Some related interfaces, such as parameter input and simulation used in arc tooth spiral bevel gear cutting process, are customized and designed by eHMI. The overall framework Brower of the customized interface system and the flow chart of man-machine interface in arc tooth spiral bevel gear machining system are built up. The whole man-machine interface has been customized by the way of establishing the project and adding the related Brower and function keys. Tooth type selection, processing parameters input, tool parameter input and other major Brower files are customized. Various parameters used in gear machining are added into Browers by the form of different components, making the related parameter input interfaces be simple and clear and facilitating the machine operators in NC programming.In order to match the Brower file switch, parameter input of such action, function keys are customized and designed accordingly by the all levels of the Browers. The simulation of Browers and keys used in multi-window interface at all levels are carried out by the simulation module, ensuring the correctness of various parameters. Achieve the aim of inputting parameter, generating the processing code and running simulation program human friendly and rapidly through the whole analysis and design process.The man-machine interface of each hierarchy diagram is built up, making the relationship among the interfaces be clear at a glance. The display interface of axis group is set through program in NC system according to the operation habit. The embedded PLC of SYNTEC CNC system used in the process of customization is summarized by constructing architecture diagram based on the demand of customization. Assign R register address, which is allowed to read and write for operator, to the input variables in the process of customization. The customized project is packed up for the software.
