High wear resistance is required in most components of industrial production, for example, ball mill liners, rolling guide and guard plates, cement spraying machine rotating liners, the inner surface of the cyclone,and, the inner surface of bend using cement delivery,etc, prone to be damaged by continuous wear in the course. One of the main measures to improve prats life is coating inorganic coating in the metal surface to improve the wear resistance of metal parts, more mature surface hardening technology include plasma spraying,laser cladding, thermal spraying, and vapor deposition, etc. However, the existing surface hardening technology requires a special construction equipment, long production cycle, high energy consumption and difficult to adapt to the harsh construction conditions. Use the steel lining of porcelain heat technology, porcelain layer lining arose on the casting surface by wear-resistant coating coated on the template sintered by redundant heat from molten, can significantly improve the mechanical properties of castingsIn this paper, based on previous studies, the composite powder particle is cranked out roundness particle with five different grading in size, bonded respectively to the template.After casting, the smooth ceramic layer on the surface of cast is obtained. This paper focuses on the influence of particle size on the lining ceramics layer. Microstructure of the lining ceramics layer is analyzed by SEM, combined with energy spectroscopy of SEM analysis the distribution of strengthening phase in lining ceramics layer. The results show that: composite powder particle size of fine particles formed an irregularities lining porcelain layer, fine particles prone to segregation; with the composite powder particle size increases, a lining porcelain layer tends to smooth can be obtained. Composite powder particle size of 20-40 mesh,the uniform thickness of ceramic layer is gained,and the thickness reached 0.4mm, the strengthening phase distribution is more uniform,the lining porcelain layer and matrix had the best combination, clear interface and transition zone,the lining porcelain layer had the best wear resistance and mechanics properties.
