First, in this thesis the process flow, reaction mechanism, the influence of operating conditions on the reaction of Sinopec Shanghai Gaoqiao company 1.4Mt/a hydro cracking unit were introduced. Combined with the comparison of hydro cracking process, research and development progress in and shut-down, wet sulfide, hydro cracking with catalyst and equipment technology etc. were described. In this paper normal use conditions, attention matters, catalyst loading, displacement of reaction system, airtight, catalyst sulfide, passiva-tion and feedstock switching in hydro cracking start scheme were studied. The way of dry wet curing was studied. Combined with current status of hydro cracking unit in Gaoqiao, the application condition of the wet catalyst vulcanization, process, technique way and realization were researched and analyzed. Also, catalyst loading, start-up of vulcanization, ammonia injection and passivation, step-by-step switching raw oil etc. for dry and wet vulcanization were investigated. From the activity, the selectivity of the catalyst, product quality, other aspects and application results were compared between wet and dry curing catalyst vulcanization. The final results were obtained, it has reference significance for similar curing methods in the domestic hydro cracking unit.1.4Mt/a hydro cracking unit in Gaoqiao was start-up process on November 2014. The method of wet vulcanization was used with catalyst FF-56/FC-32A for the first time. It lasted 15 days until the unit turned to normal on November 5. The running results of 1.4Mt/a hydro cracking unit show that, after the wet vulcanization, the activity and selectivity of the catalyst FF-56/FC-32A and quality of the products are better than that of the last production cycle, and have been improved than before. Compared with the dry vulcanization of the catalyst FF-56/FC-32A, the time of vulcanization was reduced in 31 hours, and the unit turned to normal ahead.
