| Rapid heat cycle molding is a special molding technology which can get products with high a high appearance quality and excellent mechanical properties. In this study, the Glass fiber reinforced polypropylene was selected which injected under different process parameters were take correlation experimental, the macro-properties and the variation law of morphology in RHCM were obtained based on the experimental study, provide theoretical guidance for the production of high performance RHCM products. The main works are as follows:1. The CIM and RHCM products was produced and take experiment of performance and microstructure test. The 30% Glass fiber reinforced polypropylene was selected as the materials. Variable mold temperature molding experiments were done, The trend of macro-properties of samples were studied, Characterization methods of Morphology and structure were chosen which based on properties. Multilayer structure, crystallinity, fiber orientation tensor and interfacial bonding strength were studied by SEM,Moldflow,DMA and XRD.2. The property and morphology of non-weldline sample studied. The property experiment contains tensile strength and gloss experiment and the variation were got. Multilayer structure, crystallinity, fiber orientation tensor and interfacial bonding strength were studied for discussion in RHCM samples, and analyze the influences to the tensile strength. The gloss experiment analyzed the surface roughness, crystallinity and orientation parameter have influence to the surface gloss. The ideal Microstructure of the high property non-weldline sample is proposed.3. The property and morphology of weldline sample were studied. The property experiment contains tensile strength and visibility of weldline experiment and the variation were got. In the tensile strength experiment, multilayer structure, crystallinity, fiber orientation tensor and interfacial bonding strength were studied for discussion in RHCM samples, and analyze the influences to the tensile strength. The visibility of weldline experiment analyzed width, depth, and fiber orientation tensor have influence to the visibility of weldline. The ideal Microstructure of the high property weldline sample is proposed.In this paper, the property and morphology of RHCM product were studied,and the relationship among process 〠property and morphology were analysed.
