With the rapid development of paper making industry and running speed increasing of Paper Machine, dewatering capability is more and more high. As the main dewatering part of Paper Machine, the best press style is Shoe-Press. Normally for different type of paper grade, if paper sheet dryness increase by 1% after press section, then the steam consumption in Dryer section will be decreased by 5%. And paper sheet dryness through Shoe-Press can be 3% higher compare normal press, therefore, it will decide the Paper Machine running cost and profit of the company. In this paper, the support beam is analyzed and optimized by means of modern analysis software, and advanced central control technology is used for the whole system.FEM and ANSYS analysis software are used to analyze the deformation and stress distribution of the support beam. 3-D geometrical model of the roll is created in INENTOR and imported in ANSYS, and then its FEM analysis model is set up subsequently. The analysis of the deformation and stress of the static load are simulated. The result shows that the roll structure is feasible and reliable.Because the shoe press are rotating part, its driving is calculated by drive torque multiplied by speed, not like traditional calculation method of using traction multiplied by rotation line speed. This makes the calculation concept clear, and reduces the workload of the calculation. Therefore design efficiency is improved.The most advanced SIEMENS PCS7 is used in the Shoe Press control system to realize the central data management, communications, configuration and programming software. These are obtained that PCS7 system feature is flexible, control is reliable, programming is easy, and site commissioning is possible. Therefore control system can run stably..
