Polypropylene(PP) which mixed with mosquito repellent constituted the core of bicomponent fibers, and modified polyethylene terephthalate(MPET) constituted their sheath. Some inorganic pore-forming powder was added into the sheath of concentric bicomponent anti-mosquito fibers. The alkali treatment of fiber was conducted using sodium hydroxide solution to form pore in the sheath.The effect of alkali treatment conditions on the weight loss,The article studied the surface morphology, specific surface area and mechanical properties of anti-mosquito fibers in different weight loss. The coresheath bicomponent anti-mosquito fiber were extracted under different conditions by orthogonal experiment and get the best extraction. And under this process, we made a research on the quantitative change of the mosquito repellent in the anti-mosquito fibers after a number of days and washing repeatedly. Besides, the repellent effect of the anti-mosquito fibers’ knit fabrics was tested by detecting mechanism. Study the influence of the composition ratio of the sheath and core-sheath and mosquito repellent species on the repellent effect.The results showed that the spinning and forming of both concentric circles and eccentric bicomponent anti-mosquito fibers are relatively smooth. The cortex of the concentric circles bicomponent anti-mosquito fiber appear obvious holes after the alkali treatment. The weight loss ratio could directly affect the hole size, quantity. The tensile strength and content of mosquito repellent have serious losses after the alkali treatment. The eccentric bicomponent anti-mosquito fibers have simple processing and excellent mechanical properties and significant durability, The No.1 and No.2 anti-mosquito additive has a strong synergistic anti-mosquito effect; The concentric bicomponent anti-mosquito fibers could all achieve a strong anti-mosquito effect in suitable alkali treatment conditions, The concentric circles bicomponent anti-mosquito fiber with the No.2 anti-mosquito additive(the mass ratio of cortex and core is 5: 5) had the repellent rate of 83.62% to aedes albopictus on the weight loss of 19%,The concentric circles bicomponent anti-mosquito fiber with the No.1 anti-mosquito additive(the mass ratio of cortex and core is 6: 4) had the repellent rate of 87.8% to aedes albopictus on the weight loss of 27.5%;The eccentric bicomponent anti-mosquito fiber(the mass ratio of cortex and core is 6: 4) had the repellent rate of 93% to aedes albopictus. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | core-sheath structure, anti-mosquito fiber, alkaline treatment, mechanical properties, content of mosquito repellent, anti-mosquito effects | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
