Application Of DCS/FF Integrated System In Chemical Distillation Process

With the high-speed development of petrochemical production automation level, the users have increasing demand for industrial control system. Because of the complexity and dangerousness of the petrochemical production, the maturity of DCS and the advancement of foundation fieldbus, more and more people pay close attention to the application of DCS/FF integrated system in petrochemical production.Firstly,the definition and the structure of DCS/FF integrated system was introduced. By means of describing the difference between traditional DCS and DCS/FF integrated system, and introducing the characteristics of DCS/FF integrated system, the advantage of DCS/FF integrated system was concluded. Then the process of distillation and the control of rectification was mainly introduced.Secondly, the design of DCS/FF integrated system in chemical distillation process was mainly introduced, including control function allocation principles of DCS/FF integrated system, the selection of instruments which participated in rectification, the application module of DCS/FF integrated system. According to the design discipline of FF network segment, I designed the FF network segment for the instruments which participated in rectification. Finally, the configuration of equipment and operator interface in DCS/FF integrated system was described. Simulation curves were obtained through simulation experiment, and the corresponding analysis, including the control of rectifying column temperature, the control of tower pressure fluctuation, the control of level in bottom, the control of feed fluctuation was given. The conclusions of simulation prove that the application of DCS/FF integrated system in chemical distillation process is entirely feasible.
