Hot stamping is a kind of common post-press processing technology, personalized hot stamping is also called digital hot stamping which is emerging with the trends of the postpress processing becoming shorter and personalized. The domestic research of this kind of equipment started in imitation, there still are some problems restrict the hot stamping quality: the first is there is not enough research for the equipment structure, for the hot stamping pressure control and positioning control of paper also has certain promotion space; second, the research of the temperature control method of the printing head is insufficient, can’t adapt to the large format or long time of hot stamping. To promote the quality of stamping of these equipment, it is necessary for its key technology being studied.Based on the study of the imaging principle of digital hot stamping equipment, a kind of quality detection method was designed. Based on this method and a large number of experiments, the relationship between the hot stamping quality and the stamping pressure, the intensity of heat was established, and with the analysis of thermal imaging technology, the relationship between the hot stamping quality and waste heat of printing head was established. Paper become warped caused by the stripping force was found as the main cause of the movement of the paper during the stamping process based on the experiment. The key technology of personalized stamping system was put forward for the pressure control, temperature control and paper control; In order to meet the requirement of hot stamping pressure control, based on the introduce of the principle of the stamping pressure control mechanism, the stepper motor control system was designed, the chip and the displacement sensor was chosen and to describe the work principle of the hardware and the software, the block diagram was designed; Through the research of the manufacturing process and control principle of the printing head, two methods of control of the waste heat were presented, and one of the macro control method was analyzed in the experiment, another history control method based on control IC control principle was introduced in detail; To solve the problem of paper become warped during the stamping process, the vacuum adsorption method for fixed on paper was presented, by using the theory of vacuum system design the force of paper adsorption was calculated, through the experiment, the suction hole size and the basic design parameters were determined, Using the Fluent software for simulation satisfied the extraction conditions of adsorption force requirements, then the design of a vacuum adsorption working completed.Finally, the research direction and prospect of future were given.In this paper, the research of the imaging principle and the key technology of the digital stamping equipment has laid a theoretical basis for development of this kind of equipment in our country, which improves the hot stamping quality of digital hot stamping equipment in certain application value.
