With the development of modern steel industry, Sinter is one of the principal materials of blast furnace ironmaking production. Its performance and quality directly affect the operation and technical economic index of blast furnace smelting. The sinter of Xinjiang Xin Xing Pipes had a wide variety of raw materials, also had a big different metallurgical performancemore, so the sinter quality is bad, blast furnace had a lot of problems.This topic in the high, low-grade complex ore used for blast furnace smelting as the research background, combined with the raw material conditions of Xin Xing Pipes blast furnace’s burden structure and the situation at present, experimental schemes of sinter mixture were designed and carried out under different basicity, different carbon, different fuel particle size and lime activity by the sintering cup, analysis of the physical properties of the sinter under the condition of different factors, the change of metallurgical properties and mineral composition, as to provide theoretical basis for practical production.Through a lot of the sintering cup test, detection the sinter of physical properties and metallurgical properties performancemore, by the optical microscopy study of the microstructure of sinter, to discussion and analysis of test results, combining with the knowledge of theory gives a reasonable explanation. This article main research content: effect of different basicity on the sinter quality, effect of different coke size on the sinter quality, effect of different carbon content on the sinter quality, effect of different lime activity on the sinter quality, two main types of iron ore powder’s different ratio to the effection of of sinter quality.The results showed:① Improve the sinter basicity can significantly improve the sinter strength, yield, low temperature reduction desintegration, also soften performance under the condition of the raw material, also improve the sinter ore phase structure. when the basicity increased to 1.75, he strength of sinter is the worst, when the basicity increased to 2.0, the strength of the sinter began to decline, so the most suitable basicity range of 1.8 ~ 1.85 under the condition of the raw material.② With the increase of coke powder particle size, all the technical specifications of the sinter began to decline,when coke powder particle size in 10% of the time, the sinter quality is best.③ As with the increased amount of carbon content, all the technical specifications of the sinter is improved, but meanwhile Fe O increased, the RI of sinter performance becomes poor, so in order to guarantee the sinter reducibility, carbon in 3.5% ~ 3.7% more appropriate.④ The experimental results showed that: the higher the activity of lime had a better performance indicators, but in this experiment, when the lime activity is 360 ml, the strength of the sinter reduced, So the suitable lime activity around 300 m L.⑤ Under the other powder ratio unchanged, Research effect the performance of the sinter on two main iron ore powder preparation with addition of different proportion, to guarantee the quality of sinter, it’s appropriate to increase Beizhan in the ratio of the raw material, the suitable ratio of Beizhan is 45% ~ 60%, Hehe is 0~15%. Keep the same material condition, use the bateh of sintering ore of Ⅴ-2(beizhan 60%),and when the basicity is 1.85、carbon is 3.7%、<1mm coke size is 10% and lime activity is 300 ml, the sinter quality is best.⑥ The mineral phase showed that as increasing the sinter basicity、carbon、lime activity and different prepare of beizhan powder content, and reduce the <1mm content of coke powder particle size, lots of magnetite and calcium ferrite were born and their structures were mainly melting and particles while most of calcium ferrite existed as acicular.Structure and composition of sinter obviously improved.⑦ Through the Research on sintering test with low-grade complex ore, come to the conclusion that reasonable sintering process parameters and the realized optimization bateh of sintering ore, in the Xin Xing pipes of xinjiang company sintering to application in practical production, The sinter strength was improved, metallurgical performance is more stable, it’s a good effect to the production.
