Alone with the modern scienece and tecnology improvement,people will consider the safty and convenience when they go out.Aerospace and aircraft began to develop in the direction of lightweight, high speed and high efficiency.But it will bring some trouble to people,the trouble is voice and vibration.So,it become urgent demand for the lightweight,saving the energy and reducing the voice and vibration.Magnesium has some advantages,such as low density,high intensity ratio.Moreover,its damping is high.It can meet the requirement of lightweight,saving the energy and reducing the voice and vibration.In the view of above question,at first,we choose the Mg-1Si alloy as the master alloy.In the base of the Mg-1Si alloy,we can add some another alloy.Make sure let them fully mixed together.Using OM,XRD,SEM,Material Testing Machine, DMA to study the change of the organization morphology,Mechanical properties,and damping properties of the matrial.First of all,the paper introduces the meaning of studying the Magnesium’damping properties.Summaries the Magnesium’damping properties reserch status at home and abroad.Summaries the matrial damping characterition,measuring method and formation mechanism.Meanwhile,the paper put forward the purpose and significance.Research by adding three different metanophic elements,such as Mn, Zr and Ca.TO improving mechanical properties of Mg-1Si.Then study the three elements how to effect of damping properties of Mg-1Si.The result shows that these three elements can obviously refine thre organization of master alloy.Refined organization can improve the tensile strength and elonagation. Then testing its change of damping properties,we find that these three elements are able to improve the damping performance.We can use the theory of G-L to explain the damping mechanism. |
