| Superplastic forming/diffusion bonding(referred to as SPF/DB) technology is a pioneering manufacturing technology of the modern field of aerospace, which can increase material utilization and improve the overall performance of structure. As an advanced manufacturing technology of the modern field of aerospace, SPF/DB breaks through the traditional manufacturing process and produce structure with complex shape and high specific strength. With the development of SPF/DB technology, its product has grown into secondary structure and main load-carrying structure from non load-carrying structure. At the same time, SPF/DB is used in more and more new material to satisfy the requirement of practical application. In this paper, SPF/DB technology was studied with the material of Ti-55 titanium alloy.Used the high temperature tensile test to study the superplasticity of Ti-55 titanium alloy. To investigate the situation under different temperature and strain rate of Ti-55 titanium alloy with constant strain rate tensile method. Analysis showed that: Ti-55 titanium alloy possesses the best superplasticity under the condition of 905 and ℃ strain rate of 6.56×10-4s-1, with ductility of 1093%, m=0.57, K=1040. Under the condition of 915 and strain rate of 6.56×10℃-4s-1, m=0.55, K=920.Analyzed double-sheet structure with the software of MSC.MARC, got the thickness distribution of structure and optimized p-t curve, which can be used in the SPF/DB process of double-sheet structure.Executed the process of Ti-55 titanium alloy double-sheet structure and got qualified structure. Surface quality and microstructure of diffusion bonding site were analyzed. Analysis results show that: the structure produced by optimized p-t curve had perfect surface quality; the interface of diffusion bonding disappeared and had no obvious defects. |
