Tianjin is a city suffering severe water shortage, which faces with the minimum per capita water resources in China. With the rapid urban sprawl and increasing consumption of landscape water, it is an important problem to find adequate and available landscape water for local residents. A large number of city sewage discharge every day. The recycling of advanced treated wastewater is an effective method of solving the shortage of water resources. But compared with natural landscape river, the eutrophication more easily occurs in the landscape river supplemented by reclaimed water because of its high background concentration and the poor water self-purification capacity.To understand the law of the eutrophication and analyze the problems existing in the landscape river of reclaimed water, the landscape river in the Tianjin Binhai Hi-tech Industrial Development Area was selected as the research object. The main indicators of the river were tested from April to September in 2014, and we analyzed actual running situation of the landscape river. Based on the above, the suitable emergency management and water maintenance measures were put forward.It is found that, during April to September in 2014, the main water-quality indicators of Binhai Hi-tech Industrial Development Area’s landscape river exceeded standard seriously, such as nitrogen, phosphorus and COD. Thus, the water quality exceeded Ⅴ class with a serious eutrophication state. However, compared with the natural landscape river, water bloom was not appeared due to the low total phosphorus content.Loading ballasted coagulation technology, the dosage of reagents, dosing sequence and time for sedimentation were determined on a laboratory scale.And then put forward ballasted coagulation technology as the suitable emergency management for Hi-tech Industrial Development Area’s landscape river.At last,Based on the analysis of main factors influencing landscape river eutrophication,put forward a set of operational measures to maintenance the landscape river quality,such as prevent the internal and external pollution into landscape river, aeration flow, high efficiency filter and compound bioremediation.Through this study, we can understand the eutrophication status of the landscape river and find a set of operational measures to improve the landscape river quality in the Tianjin Binhai Hi-tech Industrial Development Area, and then provide theoretical basis for the other landscape river supplemented by reclaimed water.
