With the rapid development of China’s economy and society, the pollution of environment have become increasingly prominent, and the greenhouse effect becomes a particularly thorny problem. In the low-carbon background, more and more companies have voluntarily joined the ranks of carbon reduction to disclose carbon emission information to the outside world, and they aim to get more favor from investors and establish a good corporate image while undertake social responsibility positively. However, not all of the companies will disclose carbon emission information actively, which will be a part of reasons influencing level of carbon emission disclosure. Therefore, to analyze which factors will influence the level of carbon emission disclosure clearly is particularly important and far-reaching.This paper selects 199 companies as samples from the SSE Social Responsibility Index and Shenzheng Responsibility Index, to measure influencing factors of carbon emission disclosure of companies. This paper builds a web spider program by Python script language to get carbon emission information disclosed through the website and other online media of companies, and gets corporate carbon information disclosure level based on index measure. Finally, this paper uses multiple linear regression model to analyze explanatory variables, explained variables and influencing factor. The empirical results show that level of enterprise carbon disclosure of China is positively related to their enterprise size, industry, business growth capacity, and whether listed overseas, and the impact of the first three is very significant. But the level of enterprise and its debt capacity has a negative relation, where the correlation between profitability with the level of carbon disclosure is not significant. In total, listed companies carbon disclosure of china is too inactive, and enterprise size has the largest impact while the industry takes second place, which illustrates that pressure of supervision has a relatively great influence on level of carbon disclosure. Besides, this paper also compares the level of carbon disclosure of SSE Social Responsibility Index and Shenzheng Responsibility Index, and compares difference of the influencing factors, finding that the disclosure level of the former is higher than the latter.Based on the results, this paper believes that the level of carbon disclosure of China’s listed companies needs to be improved. However, it should be realized that with the advent of internet age, it has been a common phenomenon for investors to retrieve information via web search engines, and at the same time, it can be more convenient and inexpensive for companies to disclose information through the internet. Thus, the approaches though network media to disclose carbon information should be appreciated under such a background. However, there is no formal supervision mechanism for such kind of way, with diverse contents, formats and range, so the comparability of carbon disclosure is limited. So we can build a more unified and precise framework of carbon information disclosure, and set up an authoritative quantization system of carbon information disclosure, to increase the low-carbon consciousness of stakeholders, which can improve the effect of external supervision. In this way, it can improve the companies’ consciousness of carbon emission reduction and increase the disclosure of carbon information, and contribute to reduction goal of China’s carbon emission.
