Underground gas storage well now plays an important role in gas filling substation. It is widely using and become the primary way in gas station. As the complicated underground gas storages’ working condition and large numbers of the surrounding crowds, our country pay special attention to its security problems. Based on the state regulations about the regularly test of underground gas storage to know exactly what issued happen in the process. Solve issues in time to guarantee underground gas storage run safety and avoid the serious safety accident.Aiming at the security problems exists on the underground gas storage, design CNG underground gas storage system based on Micro magnetic testing、eddy current testing and Video Detection.According to meet the overall performance, design the main project of underground gas storage field test system. It’s mainly include wall of a well detection unit, downhole detection unit and video detection unit. Wall of a well detection unit is based on the technique of Micro magnetic testing and Eddy current distance measurement,the system can realize the qualitative and quantitative analysis of defect by analyzing the anomaly characteristics of the magnetic field of the defect achieve the detection of wall of a well through Micro magnetic testing. The measuring algorithm was also designed to calculate of the ovality value according to the variation of the measured distance Measure the deflection of shaft by using eddy current testing as well as transfer the well environment to the control box and display by using underground video defection system. Downhole detection unit mainly using Micro magnetic testing sensor driven by rotating system to achieve hundred percent defection on gas stripper head of gas storage. The system integrate multiple detection methods and to implement two-dimensional imaging of defect signal.so that provides basis for accurate the usage of underground gas storage exactly.The sample pipe is defected in the lab and underground experiment on the gas station in Sichuan province when the debug of the system is already. The experiment shows that the crack of 0.1mm depth,2mm length or corrosion of Φ5mm area can be detected by the system of defection technique. The shaft deformation measurement unit can defect shaft inner diameter of 0.1% variation. The video defection unit can see the environment of inner of shaft 100%.Morever,the system defect speed can reach as fast as 3m/min. Different diameter of underground gas storage like Φ177.8mm and Φ244.5mm is fit to the system。 The system will design the multiple methods defections technique, provide strong guarantee to the safety operation of underground gas storage.
