In this thesis, the Lavandula angustifolia Mill were collected from Xinjiang Yili, lavender essential oil was extracted by steam distillation. Combined with chemometrics methods lavender essential oil near infrared spectrum rapid quantitative model is established. The base oil category discrimination model in compound lavender essential oil is established. The base oil content quantitative model in compound lavender essential oil is established. Identify the active ingredient to inhibit staphylococcus aureus for lavender essential oil by chemometrics method.1. Using gas chromatography- mass spectrometry analyse 174 lavender essential oil samples and 19 main components were detected. According to China’s lavender essential oil standard, 7 characteristic and representative components were select to estabilish quantitative model. Seven components are limonene, 1,8-Cineole, cis-β-Ocimene, trans-β-Ocimene, linalool, terpinene-4-ol, linalyl acetate and lavandulyl acetate respectively. 174 samples get rid of four abnormal samples. Through different pretreatment methods, different modeling wavelength selection method, different chemometrics methods, establishing lavender essential oils near infrared spectrum rapid quantitative analysis model, artificial neural network with the highest model effect,optimum predicte ability and the best stability.2. Discriminant analysis compound lavender essential oil samples. Using hierarchical clustering method, support vector machine classification method, radial basis neural network and partial least squares to discriminate compound lavender essential oil and pure essential oils. Four methods can correctly recognize pure essential oil and compound lavender essential oil and can idenitify the base oil category in compound lavender essential oil. Using partial least squares method quantitative analysis of base oil content in compound lavender essential oil. The model can predict the base oil content, model with high precision and excellent prediction effect.3. Researching on the staphylococcus aureus inhibitory ability of lavender essential oil. Hunt for the biological active ingredients by chemometrics method. Filter method is used to determine antimicrobial effect. Using the tablet colony counting method determine half of the bacteriostatic concentration IC50, the value.is between 0.6% ~ 4.684%. OPLS regression method is used to analyze the chemical composition of lavender essential oil and the correlation of bacteriostatic bioactivities. Identify the active ingredient. It is show that linalool, terpinene-4-ol and caryophyllene oxide has great contribution to inhibiting staphylococcus aureus. The linalool is the largest contribution to the strongest ability to inhibit staphylococcus aureus and bioactive substances.
