With the development of individual requirements of the motor, specifications of the motor and auxiliary fixture quantities are multiplied. Motor manufacturing is facing serious challenges of cost. Hence, it is necessary to increase the flexibility of the die to lower the cost. By analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of several main flexible die structures, multi-point forming is selected. However, it is found that many traditional forming flexible dies have complicated structures and long shape adjusting time, and lead to few application.This thesis in view of these two core issues, base on a few investigations, through the research of the mechanism of discrete surface forming, verify the feasibility of electromagnetic shape adjustment, and through the theoretical calculation and accurate design by finite element analysis method, the magnetic field distribution are simulated size shrinkage of three typical location system corner, midpoint and just in the middle of the magnetic circuit set threshold range accurate control magnetic matrix, realized the magnetic hierarchical scanning control. Through the redesign of the flexible mold of each module, the mechanism of the die is simplified, to separate the mechanical structures and the electronic systems, and improve the system stability and service life. Two generations of experimental prototype had produced to experiment. Through the experiment, analysis and optimization of continuous, a multi-point forming flexible control of mould field matrix rapid shape adjusting is given, and the shape adjusting time of flexible die is shorten. At the same time, the optimization of flexible new structure of the die adjusting accuracy, meets the requirement of the expected design, makes the flexible die closer to the actual engineering application.
