Recently, more and more international researches focus on process intensification and design lots of new type reactors. Among them, Confined impinging jets reactors(CIJR) could offer high transfer performance and mixing efficiency, which is widely used in combustion, drying, grind and nanoparticles precipitation. However, the study of micromixing efficiency in CUR is not sufficient. In this paper, iodide-iodate of parallel competing reactions is used as the working system to study the micro-mixing characteristics of T-type unequal jets impinging stream reactor. In CIJRs, the segregation index Xs increases with the increase of retantant concentration [H+] and decrease of impinging velocity, the segregation index Xs decreases as impinging jets momentum ratio PB/PA increases. However, when PB/PA is over critical value, the segregation index Xs changes slightly. The best value of L is 0.625R. At constant malor ratio, with an increase of the fluid volume flow ratio, the segregation index clearly increases. Equal proportion amplified the 3-4 CUR, the segregation index Xs decrease of impinging velocity, the overall trend is more consistent. Based on the incorporation model and experimental data, the estimated micromixing times have the magnitude of milliseconds, it can be envisioned that CUR would have more excellent micromixing performance, promising applications in various industrial processes and illustrated that the impinging stream reactor is an ideal fast reactor.
