Nowadays, a,p-unsaturated aldehydes has an very important position in modern chemical engineering field, because of its unique conjugated system and different products. Cinnamaldehyde and Citral are the most typical kinds of a,β-unsaturated aldehydes. Their hydrogenation products are widely covered many areas,such as medicine and other related fields. That is, the study of selectivity in cinnamaldehyde and citral bears a very important realistic and research significance.LDHs whose formula is [M2+1-xM3+x(OH)2](An-x/n)·mH2O, is a so called host-guest layered material. Its metal cations (M2+and M3+) and anions(An-) all can be can be modulated within the layers. With this unique flexibility, LDHs have a advantage to became a potential source in catalysts.In this paper, we finally make two kinds of supported Pt catalysts.Then studytheir hydrogenation performance toward citral or cinnamic aldehyde.The details are present as follows:1) The synthesis of highly dispersed Pt/C-MMO catalystBy using coprecipitation method, Pt/C-MMO is prepared by Platinum ligand (PtCl42-) that intercalated MgAlFe-LDHs and finally get catalyst with glucose for its hybridizate and assemble simultaneously. By changing the proportion of Fe to prepare different PtFe catalyst carrier, and evaluate their performance of citral hydrogenation. The strong interaction between Fe2O3 and Fe in electronic effect increase the C=O selectivity of citral hydrogenation.2) The synthesis of PtCo alloy catalystBy using coprecipitation method, Co intercalates PtCl4-LDH.After mixed with glucose for its hybridizate and assemble simultaneously, we can make PtCo alloy catalyst and evaluate their performance in the cinnamyl aldehyde hydrogenation. The PtCo alloy in catalyst does good to the catalytic performance.
