An easy-dismounting dynamic racing game motion simulator driven by electronic motor, with 3 degrees of freedom, is designed in this thesis. In addition, further research is performed on collision problems of the dynamic racing game, including collision detection, analysis and simulation.1) Firstly, a design scheme of dynamic racing game motion simulator is proposed based on the state-of-the-art research. Subsequently, Inventor and AutoCAD are employed to complete the structural design and the drive unit design. Finally, integration and assembling of the simulator are performed.2) In order to improve the efficiency of collision detection in the racing game, an optimization algorithm based on hybrid bounding box is adopted. In particular, this thesis modifies the structure of hierarchical bounding box tree, by dividing it into two levels. The outer level utilizes sphere while the inner level chooses suitable bounding box according to geometrical shape of the object. By building hybrid bounding box, fast collision detection between objects is implemented. Also, the concept of temporal-spatial coherence is introduced to simplify the ergodic process of collision detection and improve the efficiency.3) For better analysis of two-dimension collision process, a two-dimension collision dynamic model based on conservation of momentum and collision recovery coefficient is established. In this model, the racing car’s parameter of movement before collision is adopted as the initial conditions to calculate the parameter after collision. For better illustration, actual traffic accidents are employed. The agreement between the solved parameter and the actual one demonstrates the veracity of the established model.4) In order to simulate the collision in the dynamic racing game, a simulator pose estimation algorithm is proposed. According to the speed of racing car in the moment before and after the collision, the change of simulator pose is calculated by using the pose estimation algorithm. Also, a motor control parameter algorithm is proposed in this thesis. By applying this algorithm, the change of simulator pose is transformed into the motor control parameter. Experimental results demonstrate the veracity of the proposed algorithms.
