| Bellows are more and more widely used in modern industry,Metal bellows replace the spring as the elastic element and compensating element of friction pair to the mechanical seal of valve.It solves the leaking problem in valve due to the bad sealing.This paper mainly introduces a kind of forming equipment producing large caliber elastic bellows.It generally adopts the rolling forming technology to the production of metal bellows,but the domestic equipment is less, the design is complex,the cost is higher and it always can’t meet different processing of bellows.This paper provides the design for processing large caliber elastic metal bellows forming equipment of different size,calculated the forming force and analyzed the forming result with EDFORM software theoretically.In this paper, the study contents are as follows:It summarized the development of metal bellows in valve seal and its forming at home and aboard.The paper also proposed a method of "Tension-Assisted cold rolling" based on roll forming technology and analyzed the advantages and disadvantages.The paper analyzed the principle of large caliber metal bellows forming,it also introduced and analyzed the composition of each part of the machine tool,its function and structural characteristics,which mainly includes the overall layout design of the machine tool, transmission system design, the feeding mechanism design, forming component part design and electrical control design.Under the current condition of immature calculation formula of rolling pressure force on bellows roll forming,the paper established a simple mathematical model, deduced the calculation formula of forming force and analyzed its forming by using DEFORM simulation software.It developed a special equipment of large caliber elastic metal bellows forming,tested its feasibility and stability and sought out good molding material by experiments.So far, the forming equipment is relatively stable and with good condition. |
