Currently our country facing a processing problem is removal of nitrogen and organic in wastewater at low temperature conditions. Our country is a major production base of feather and feather products in the production process of feather products will generate a lot of water which wash cashmere,water of wash cashmere contains o lot of crushing feather,animal waste,organic pollutants and TKN content.Most of wash cashmere industry in the north of our country,the weather of winter is cold in northern of china,the minimum temperature is generally below-20℃,in winter the average temperature is generally not more than 10℃,freezing period of up to three to six months,now our facing a challenge is treatment wash feather waster water in winter and its effluent quality meets GB21901-2008”feather industrial water pollution discharge standards”.In this paper,the research based a wash cashmere renovation project in Hebei,research background is practical application,through treatment wash wastewater which a cashmere plant made in Hebei,the scene rough wash wastewater dealer with small scale biochemical tests in laboratory which provided data basis for on-site pilot testing transformated demonstration project and debugging,and to provide an economically viable solution for the removal of organic pollutants and ammonia in waste water at low temperatures.This paper process is arranged SJ new packing in biochemical,SJ new packing have high removal load for nitrogen、organic pollutant,in the case of doesn’t change tank volume,reducing the system to removal load of COD、NH3-N,adsorption properties of fillers can extend contact time of microorganisms with the pollution,the filler which have pro microbial can make low bacteria multiply in surface of the filler,curing the number of low bacteria in packing, increasing the treatment effect under low temperature conditions,at this process,can make the removal rate of COD reach 95%,the removal rate of NH3-N reach 96% at 8℃-12℃ temperature condition,effluent water quality can stable reach effluent standards of GB21901-2008”feather industrial water pollution discharge standards”.The improve sewage treatment capacity and efficiency of sewage treatment plant,the sludge production will be a corresponding increase.The ultimate gole of sludge treatment and disposal is to achieve reduction,sound,resources,current,due to the difficulty of sludge treatment and disposal costs continue to increase,sludge reduction is particularly important.Currently our facing a difficult problem is treatment sludge,disposal sludge havehigh costs accounting 1/3 costs of wastewater treatment,the process of treatment sludge will have secondary pollution for environment.The research of this paper is not increase other process to acieve reduce excess sludge in biochemical stage,the principle of reductions are:pro-microbial and large surface area of SJ new packing can make various type of microrganisms can be attached to its surface can form a lot of small food chain,the higher of the food chain predator the lower of the food chain to achieve sludge reduction,followed is fillers special presentations.may occur anaerobic ammoria oxidation on the fillers to achieve the reduction of excess sludge.The research of test data which treatment wash cashmere wastewater to calculate the Yobs 0.099824(kg MLSS/kg BODcr),Yobs of practical engineering(jixiang wash cashmere factory)operating data is 0.1046(kg MLSS/kg BODcr)can be seen from the data after using systems which installation SJ new packing can achieve sludge reduction more than 50%.
