Abstract/Summary:
Coke oven gas is one of the main by-product coking industry. Coke oven gas composition is complex, the gas purification processing workshop series, impurity still carry a small amount of tar, naphthalene and other aromatic compounds, and even affect the normal operation of therefore, the coke oven gas must be removed before the hydrogen production. The removal of impurities in coke oven gas often use activated carbon adsorption process, the adsorption properties and therefore has important significance in study of coal based activated carbon of naphthalene.The five kinds of activated carbon as adsorbent, the adsorption mechanism of activated carbon, determination of naphthalene adsorption and desorption pore volume for effective pore structure of activated carbon, activated carbon adsorption of the parameters; and benzene, toluene, xylene,nitrobenene, tetralin and decalin as adsorbate, determine suitable evaluation index with the adsorption properties of activated carbon naphthalene removal; Studied the law in the process of adsorption of activated carbon adsorption of naphthalene and the variation of regenerated adsorption properties; With long- flame coal as raw material,It has conducted a preliminary exploration for carbon process conditions of the preparation of coal-based activated.The results indicate that: The adsorption of activated carbon for naphthalene increased with the increaseing of the surface area,But it is not absolute relationship btween the adsorption properties of naphthalene and the specific surface area. The effective aperture for naphthalene adsorption is 1.1-2.0nm microporous and part of 2.0nm-30 nm mesoporous; The law in the process of adsorption of activated carbon adsorption of naphthalene consistent with the law in the process of adsorption of the activated carbon adsorption of benzene, toluene, xylene, tetralin, decalin; Taking adsorption time and other reasons into account, we can choose the adsorption properties of toluene, xylene, tetralin and decalin to evaluate the performance of the activated carbon adsorption of naphthalene; Take the adsorption saturation industrial activated carbon adsorption with naphthalene regenerated at the temprature 110 ℃, 170 ℃, 200 ℃,the adsorption for naphthalene of the activated carbon after regeneration adsorption of naphthalene increases with the increasing of the temperature of the regeneration, With the long-flame coal as raw material for preparing activated carbo n, the adsorption performance of the activated carbon at the final carbonization temperature of 700 ℃, the carbonization time is 1h, the activation final temperature of 850 ℃, the activation time was 45 min, the steam flow is 1.5g ?(h ? g)-1 is optimum, the naphthalene adsorption value is 210.5 mg ? g-1, while the iodine value is 423.2mg ? g-1.
