| Lime is an essential auxiliary material in metallurgical production process, its quality has an important influence on steelmakingã€refining process. In China, iron and steel industry rapidly rise in recent years, part of iron and steel enterprises has completed the rotary kiln technology advanced, and the use of ancillary products(coke oven gas, blast furnace gas, converter gas as fuel, etc.). Not only saving energy,but also solve the problems of environment.In the production process, materials which Anling company uses have various different material properties, in the process of material switching and actual production, main burning personnel is difficult to grasp the properties of the material, resulting in rotary kiln operation instability, internal ring, rotary kiln preheater rod clamping and blocking in preheater etc..In order to solve these problems,it need to analysis of the chemical composition of the limestone( ordinary limestone and high magnesium limestone) which from various manufacturers for hot cracking test according to the lime calcination mechanism. In a muffle furnace, preheating decomposition experiments were performed respectively at 850 ℃, 900 and 950 ℃ ℃, we can get different burning loss and preheating decomposition rate, then the temperature from 950 ℃ respectively to 1000℃, 1050℃ and 1100℃, doing the burning test, analysising of the two kinds of limestone of chemical composition, activity and drop breakage rate. Through experiment to contrast and analysis, we obtain the most suitable calcining temperature and calcining time of the two kinds of limestone, through reducing the push rod form, changing the nozzle position, changing the volume of primary air in the axial and radial, changing the angle of nozzle into the kiln and hot and cold alternating method, the question of ringing is greatly alleviated,the quality and yield of lime have been improved, which parameter selection is meet the demands of production in rotary kiln production process. |
