A Study Of Ecology Marxist View Of Technology

As the environmental problems become increasingly severe, scholars in different areas are read from the different Angle of view to understand the problems and put forward the countermeasures to the problems. Ecological Marxism, as one of the most influential in the contemporary western Marxism, absorb the theoretical achievements of predecessors, exploration and discusses the ecological crisis problems emerge in the process of industrialization and modernization. In particular, about the essence of technology and the relationship between the technology and the root cause of ecological crisis, Ecological Marxism choose to form a closely linked to critique of technology and critique of system. Ecological Marxism has fierce criticism on the capitalist system from the technological point of view, and point out that the root of ecology crisis is capitalist use of technology, so here I think their criticism was of proactive and profundity. Therefore, in-depth analysis and study of the technology concept of ecological Marxism, not only help us to understand the nature of the technology more dialectically, but also help us to master the relationship between the rules of technological innovation, the use of technologies and the economic development, environmental protection. Has important theoretical value and practical significance.This paper mainly includes four parts:The first part is the overview of ecological Marxism. This part respectively expounds the production and the performance of environmental problems, the formation, development and improvement of the ecological Marxism.The second part is to explore the theory source and course of ecological Marxism technical view origin from three aspects:the divine origin of technology, the technology view of Marx and the technology view of Frankfurt School. This part is also to explore the realistic background of ecological Marxism from three aspects:realistic demands, practice exploration and theoretical support.The third part is trying to analyze the ecological Marxism’s technology concept in different periods, different stages, summed up the three main content, and respectively to overview.The fourth part discusses the thinking of the contemporary value and significance of the technology concept of ecological Marxism. Considering from our socialist construction, it enriched and developed the technology view of Marx, solid and strengthened the belief of Chinese characteristic socialism; considering from our ecological civilization construction, we can use the technology innovation to promote the construction of ecological justice, we can use the ecological forces to promote the construction of ecological civilization.
