Desulfurization tower is the core equipment of the Desulfurization system, and spray tower is the earliest application of tower. Because its mature technology, simple structure and reliable operation, it is widely used in China’s desulphurization industry, and the current situation of sulfur dioxide pollution is eased effectively Due to the development for CAD software is very professional, and the existing, desulfurization equipment CAD software is also behind of the computer application technology, when designers design standard parts consisting of the spray tower, there will be a lot of repetitive designing work. This process is heavy workload, long designing cycles and inefficient.Therefore, in order to shorten the design cycle and improve design efficiency, researching and developing a practical CAD system for desulfurization equipment will be of great value.In this paper, I design a set of spray tower CAD application system based on VB.NET, with the using of Visual Studio 2008 as development tools, Access2010 database as parameter storage and AutoCAD2010 as drawing environment. Firstly, I establish the framework of the software, and determine that the system consists of parametric design, map sheet information, parts Library and spray tower strength check, with the extensive research on secondary development technology of AutoCAD. Secondly, I can design the interface and dialog for each part of the software, with the use of Visual Studio 2008. Once again, According to the use of object-oriented technology and function packaging technology, I can develop entity creating, layer setting, Pattern filling, dimensions marking and rapid three-dimensional automatic entity modeling, based on the VB.NET language. In addition, I can design the database interface of spray tower CAD application software using ADO.NET technology. Finally, with the use of ANSYS and AutoCAD interface technology and finite element analysis techniques, I can do the finite element analysis of the three-dimensional solid generated automatically by this software.In addition, I design the parts library and frame information part of the software in detail, with the use of parametric design and library data binding techniques. The software is experimenting with different sets of data, the system has a friendly interface, simply operation way, powerful function and runs safely, and play an important role in the spray tower parametric design process.
