With the increasingly serious energy and environmental issues,rational and efficient use of renewable energy is very important. Biomass is the renewable energy that can be cleaned and stored, it is worth giving the attention from government and technology. Study the pollutant emission characteristics and slagging characteristics of co-firing anthracite and biomass, will provides basis and guidance for combustion engineering and combustion equipment, towards large coal-fired power plant mixed combustion of biomass.Firstly, we selected two fuels of anthracite and commom biomass sawdust,for these two materials by elemental analysis and industry analysis. we studied biomass fuel particles(sawdust) and Leiyang anthracite separately burning or mix different blend ratio burning via Horizontal leg boiler, in-depth discussed the effects of flame temperature and product emissions on the combustion of the samples. The results show that, the biomass inflammable, the combustion temperature is relatively low, CO2, SOx and NOx emissions are lower; Conversely, anthracite difficult to fire, the combustion temperature is high, CO2, SOx and NOx emissions are higher. When the anthracite mixed with biomass sawdust, overall flame temperature is decreasing;oxygen are decreased and mixture ignition advanced,so biomass improve the fire performance of anthracite difficult;CO2, SOx and NOx emissions significantly lower than burning anthracite alone. Therefore, anthracite co-firing of biomass can not only improve the performance of anthracite difficult to fire, but also reduce combustion pollutant emissions.Secondly, taking the fly ash and bottom ash samples from the horizonal leg furnace after the biomass wood and anthracite burning.then test the ash melting point and analyze the ash composition by the fly ash and bottom ash. Judging the anthracite co-firing with biomass whether slagging to use of the melting temperature(ST),alkaline acid ratio,ratio of silicon,silicon aluminum ratio slagging index.Testing and calculations show that the presence of wood biomass in minor or moderate slagging tendency, when anthracite co-firing of biomass, the discrimination index would changes with the slagging tendencies direction, but even blended with 30% of sawdust, will not cause the boiler slagging.
