Organic amine desulfurization (OADS) is a kind of new desulfurization technology for burning high sulfur coal units, which not only has the very high desulfurization efficiency, and can implement efficient recovery of sulfur waste recycling. Therefore, research on the application of OADS technology, has important engineering significance. This dissertation has studied the feasibility and rationality of OADS technology application for burning high sulfur coal unit. Improved application measures are proposed from the aspects such as process design, equipment selection, commissioning operation, by studying the effect factors on the operation safety, stability and economy of the desulfurization equipment. Through further research on the OADS technology by investigating the FGD process of the sintering at Pangang, Lai Steel, the OADS process condition and operation mode of the device has been improved for coal-fired power generating units. This technology has been applied in an 2x660MW supercritical coal-fired power plant FGD in Guizhou Province. The results show that the overall performance index of OADS device has achieved the quality and technical requirements of the designed parameters, which has demonstrated that this desulfurization process used in burning high sulfur coal unit is feasible. The technical and economical analysis of OADS shows that, compared with the limestone-gypsum wet desulphurization technology, the OADS technology has obvious advantages when burning high sulfur coal. When burning higher sulfur coal, OADS technology can achieve better benefits, and also, recovery the shortage sulfur resources to avoid the secondary pollution.
