Study On The Synthesis Of Carbazole And Its Derivatives

In this thesis the research content mainly includes the synthesis of biscarbazole and the synthesis of carbazole monomers.Biscarbazole consists of two molecules which is the same or different carbazole monomers, carbazole widely exist in natural plant, in Murraya and Clausena of Rutaceae. The alkaloids show a variety of biological activities. There are46biscarbazole alkaloids geting form differernt plants, and few reported about research for biological activity of dimerization carbazole alkaloids, especially the activity against osteoporosis. We conducted a total synthesis research work about biscarbazoles. The forms of biscarbazole including molecules on the aromatic ring of C-C coupling, C-N coupling and the intermolecular coupling exists in carbazole substituent. The main form is molecules on the aromatic ring of C-C coupling, we chose this form as research object. In this thesis three methods were used for resarch to synthesis biscarbazoles.Carbazole and its derivatives is a kind of important alkaloids. Carbazole main extracted from coal tar, but carbazole modification is not easy, modified carbazole substituent to obtain carbazole derivatives is difficult, using chemical methods to synthesis different substituents carbazole alkaloids is one of the hot research topic now.This paper uses microwave-assisted method to synthesize carbazoles, in the presence of different substituent, has achieved a good yield. We get7carbazoles which have hydroxyl substituents,7carbazoles which did not have hydroxyl substituents.
