With the rapid development of industrial production and economy in China,many industries such as mechanical processing, oil extraction, ship navigation, the food industry and metal industry are developing rapidly,then plenty of oily sewage is produced. Oily sewage is a kind of industrial sewage which can result in environmental damage and have wide harmful scope, serious consequences. Therefore treating oily sewage to reach the standard of discharge is of great significance, which can reduce environmental pollution, protect water resources and improve economic benefits.This thesis mainly focuses on the engineering design of Ji Chai Diesel Power Plant Wuhan Engine Design Factory Sewage Treatment Station. The scale of this treatment design is 50 m3/d, and the sewage of this project is derived from cleaning of components and parts of engine and links of daily life and product test. The main pollutants in these Sewage include COD, BOD, Ammonia Nitrogen, SS and a small amount of oil material. The design tasks include screening technological process of the sewage treatment station, making process design calculation of structure and equipment, estimating project investment and analyzing environmental benefits. The main technique using by the design is DCN biochemical reaction pool. To strictly controlling the effluent quality, we add subsequently ultraviolet(uv), sodium hypochlorite and fiber ball filter to make advanced treatment. treated sewage discharges into Tangxun lake. The sewage sludge in factory area transports outside after disinfection by desiccation pool. Presently sewage treatment station does not debug yet, therefore this research will make some preliminary analysis in debugging preparation and preliminary phrases.According to this research, sewage treatment station’s ability of sewage treatment is improved, the effluent can reach target of the national standard, and it achieves great environmental benefit, economic benefit and social benefit.
