Furnace is a typical industrial complex object. It is notable to have characteristics of a multi-variable, time-varying, nonlinear, strong coupling, and inertial pure delay. Because the temperature of furnace is difficult to measure and there are many external disturbance factors, it is difficult to accurately modeling and control. With the increasing requirements of the process, the traditional control methods have been unable to meet the current needs of the energy-saving environment protection.This thesis takes ChengGang plate factory 3# heating furnace as study and control object. The heating furnace system have characteristics of overshoot and poor stability problem. So combining the characteristics of Fuzzy control, PID control and double-cross-clipping control, this thesis put forward a double-cross-clipping controlling method on fuzzy logic. Gas conditioning and air conditioning is flow regulation. If the gas and air regulator have differential effects on the change of the given value, the output of the temperature regulator have a little change, the regulator control amplitude will greatly is not stable. The control has a strong negative impact. So PI controller has used the law.With using MATLAB,the primary and secondary controller model has been build. The parameters setting of controller use the fuzzy control method in this thesis.The optimization of parameters has been used in double-cross-clipping control. Simulation results show that the double-cross limiting control based on fuzzy control method can reduce the overshoot of furnace temperature control system, increase the adaptive ability of the system and have a better control effect. The method used the ChengGang 3# heating furnace, the results show that the method have very good development prospect and desired effect. In practice, the control system adopts Siemens S7-400 PLC and WinCC configuration software for real-time monitoring of the site, to ensure that the furnace temperature is automatically controlled to achieve a production safety, stability operation.
