Research On The Characteristics Of Wet Electrostatic Precipitator Polymer Plate

Wet electrostatic precipitator has advantages of high efficient removal of fine particles,low pressure loss, no second-dust etc.But the local resistance generated by the traditional wet electrostatic precipitator dust collecting pole on which easily causes the anti-corona,which will destroy the field stability and reduce the efficiency of dust removal.Besides, another problem of traditional wet electrostatic precipitator is the serious acid corrosion.Anticorrosion materials and special anti-corrosion measures are needed.This paper proposes to use polymer material as the plate of wet electrostatic precipitator,which aims at solving no anti-corrosion resisting and water-distribution’s no uniform.This subject provides a comprehensive analysis of the structure and characteristics of wet membrane plate electrostatic precipitator(MWESP). Water distribution mechanism is analysed based on the theory of textile material surface chemistry. At the same time, the corrosion resistant performance and the factors which may affect dust removing are investigated.The factors contain section shape of polymer plate style, specific surface area and other factors.The characteristics of anti-corrosion and the factors’ influence law to dust removal efficiency.Based on study of composite materials science, composite polymer plate is proposed.The overall scheme for making polymer composite plate is designed,which makes the plate performance more comprehensive and more suitable for use in wet electrostatic precipitator. Finally, the main application of industry and market demand of polymer composite plate are discussed in this paper.The results show that in che backgrouns of the increasingly strict environmental standards and severe haze weather,wet composite polymer plate electrostatic precipitator can be used in thermal power, steel, cement, waste incineration,nonferrous metallurgy and many other industries,and the market prospect is very good.
