With the development of world economics, environmental friendly energy concept has been gradually accepted by the public. As a clean energy, natural gas is playing a more and more important role in the energy structure of our country. The supersonic swirling separator dehydration technology is a new type of mixed gas separation technology, it has many advantages which traditional methods can not match. But at present domestics supersonic swirling separator dehydration technology is seldom used in China, the main reason is that it cannot adapt to the actual working condition of the complex and changeable conditions. In order to be able to make the situation better, in this paper, the structure design of supersonic separation refers to the domestic and foreign excellent tube. Redesigned the swirl generator, it is installed on the straight pipe section at the entrance, and three-dimensional numerical simulated the flow distribution of the new supersonic swirling separator. In this paper, the main research contents and conclusions are as follows.(1) Investigated the domestic and foreign various types of supersonic swirling separator dehydration structure research, and analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of each type.(2) In this paper, the design of supersonic swirling separator at the beginning of established the first condensation in the rotation of the thought of separation, so installed the swirl generator behind the Laval nozzle. According to the results of the analysis can be found, the design of the new supersonic swirling separator has a good separation performance.(3) This article adopts the numerical model can excellently predict the rotation of the separation tube internal inflation, put the swirl generator in the straight pipe at the entrance, the separation tube will has better separation performance, the shock wave position can be controlled behind the Laval nozzle in the new supersonic swirling separator.(4) The natural gas in the nozzle flow in the process of droplet kinetic model of nucleation and growth have being established, the Wilson position is22mm away behind the nozzle throat by calculated of the example, and right now the critical radius of liquid drop is0.3jum, In the process of back-in flowing, the droplet distribution at the exit to the diameter grows to be1.0um.(5) In this paper, the design of new supersonic swirling separator in simulation can adjust to changing conditions, and when the pressure loss ratio reached53.33%, the temperature dropped22℃.(6) In the analysis of the cross section flow field, the result prove that in the rotational the flow will produce two times the evaporation.
