| The wax deposition of water-in-oil emulsion can reduce effective diameter, and reduce the pipeline’s transmission capacity, and even lead to condensate tube and great security incidents. Now, the study about the mechanism, influencing factors and prediction model of the crude oil wax deposittion is mature, however, the study about the wax deposition of water-in-oil emulsion is relatively few, so, it is necessary to study the laws of water-in-oil emulsion wax deposition. In this paper, analyzed the effect of water phase on the sample physical parameters, studied the physical properties, the wax precipitation characteristics, and the rheological properties of the crude oil and the emulsion, and conducted the experimental study of wax deposition, analyzed the influence factors of the water-in-oil emulsion wax deposition, and regressed the prediction model of the water-in-oil emulsion wax deposition.The main research contents and conclusions are as follows:(1) Selected the high waxy crude oil produced in Bohai block as the experimental crude oil, prepared the water-in-oil emulsion, and measured the density, specific heat, freezing point, wax content of the crude oil and emulsion.(2) The wax precipitation characteristic parameters were obtained by conducting the thermal analysis, conducted the rheological properties analysis of the crude oil and the emulsion, and regressed the prediction model of the viscosity of the water-in-oil emulsion, the model has a high precisioncan, and can reflect the effects of temperature, shear rate and rate of water content on the viscosity.(3) Optimized the traditional cold finger experiment device, and devised a new rotary dynamic wax precipitation device, the device can accurately simulate the shear effect of the oil flow, and the device consume less sample.(4) Used the experimental device to conduct the wax deposition experiment, analyzed the influence laws of the oil temperature, temperature difference, flow rate and water content on the wax deposition, when the emulsion’s water content is different, the influence laws of the oil temperature, temperature difference and flow rate are different.(5) On the basis of the Huang Qiyu model considered the influence of the water phase on the sample physical parameters, and associated the water content with the single-phase flow wax deposition tendency coefficient, ultimately, regressed the prediction model of the water-in-oil emulsion wax deposition, the accuracy of the model can satisfy the needs of engineering practice. |
