China is an earthquake prone country, as important part of a long-distance pipeline project, the cable-suspending pipelines, one of the most important suspending pipelines types, are often inevitably built in earthquake-prone areas, the cable-suspending pipeline has the characters of large flexibility, low damping, uneven spectrum and low natural frequency, the dynamic characteristics of seismic response analysis, seismic design has become an important issue in the design of pipeline crossing project.Based on Wei Hui Drainage suspending pipeline, the finite element model of the suspending pipeline which considering pre-strain, stress stiffening and large strain is constructed through the ANSYS software. Static and mold analysis are complemented. By construct with the relevant literature, the results show that the finite element model build in this paper is correct.Selecting the method of high-mass input seismic waves, typical seismic waves are input in cable-suspending pipeline, the characters and regularity of seismic responses on cable-suspending pipelines is studied. And the parameters and ground motion in the cable-suspending pipeline fragility model are determined.Based on Probabilistic performance assessment framework proposed by the Pacific Earthquake Engineering Research Center (PEER), the contents, process and method of cable-suspending pipelines’seismic fragility is analyzed based on the Wei Wai Drainage suspension which is the representative of small and medium-sized suspension pipeline, and seismic fragility model of cable-suspending pipeline is established.Considering the the randomness of ground motion and calbe-suspending pipe,100cable-suspending pipeline-earthquake samples are generated. Afte100dynamic analysis, stress demand results are obtained. Combined with the cable-suspending pipeline seismic fragility model, the curves and matrix of seismic fragility of Wei Hui channel are obtained. Based on seismic fragility and matrix, the probability of each levels of destruction of Wei Hui channel in next period of time are predicted.This paper analyzed the seismic regularity and seismic fragility of Wei Hui Chinnel which is representative of small and medium-sized cable-suspending pipeline, the establishment of the cable-suspending pipeline seismic fragility mode is of great significance in assessment of the seismic safety of the pipeline and mading appropriate measures for cable-suspending pipeline across the earthquake damage, which can also be important reference for the cable-suspending planning, design and maintenance decisions.
