Pyrazine derivatives are widely used as dyes, anti-tumor and diuretic medicine. Therefore, it is important to find new method for synthesis of these compounds and the activity of these compounds in area of organic chemistry and medicinal chemistry research.In this article, we synthesized a series of novel benzodiazepine derivatives and pyrazine derivatives which have not been reported before by using the tandem Staudinger /aza-Wittig reaction. The condition of synthesis and the spectral properties of the above compounds were researched and discussed. Details are as follows:1.Recent advances on synthetic method to 1,4-benzodiazepine derivatives, pyrazine derivatives and the latest research progress of aza-Wittig reaction are reviewed.2.A series of benzodiazepine derivatives 5 were obtained from a tandem Staudinger /aza-Wittig reaction.3.
