In order to improve inherent safety degree of uranium mine, hazardous factors of uranium mine could be identified by analysis of its profiles and process of production technology. An evaluation of safety was done to uranium mine by the way of Safety Checklist, PHA and Fault Tree Analysis methods. For matters and shortages, some countermeasures had been set forth to achieve the improvement of safety. There were 6 chapters in this paper. The first chapter included the overview of the past studies, the significance of the paper. The second chapter mainly discussed the uranium mine environment, the engineering general situation and the process of production technology. The risks and hazardous factors of the ground production, tailings library and mine were identified and analyzed in the chapter three. The special equipment and the major hazard sources were identified and analyzed.A evaluation units of uranium mine were evaluated by the way of Safety Checklist, PHA and Fault Tree Analysis methods in the chapter four.In the fifth chapter, the author proposed some security countermeasures to solve the matter and shortage. The safety evaluation was reviewed in detail in chapter six, and the relevant conclusions and recommendations were provided.
