The bleaching effluent of pulp and paper enterprises used traditional chlorine bleach technology has the characteristics of complex components,toxicity and difficult to deal with was the main source of pulping and papermaking enterprises discharge wastewater.In order to explore a kind of economic and efficient bleaching wastewater treatment technology,making the plant or production facility of bleaching effluent wastewater discharged to meet the requirements of GB3544-2008"pulp and paper industrial water pollutant discharge standard".This paper taked a Guangxi pulp bleaching plant wastewater as the object of study,used laboratory jar test method,treat the bleaching wastewater byZero Valent Iron, Enhanced Zero Valent Iron,FeO-H2O2,investigate the removal of AOX and COD,analysis the reaction mechanism and improving the process of condtions.The main conclusions were as follows:Used the Zero Valent Iron treat the bleach plant effluents,the degradation mechanism of AOX was the Hydrogenolysis and the coagulation of iron,the reductive dechlorination of Fe2+was limited.The degradation of COD removal mainly depended on the degree of hydrogen systems in reaction solution. The main influencing factors were pH value on the removal efficiency of AOX and COD.The pH value increased with prolonging the reaction time,the pH value showed a rapid growth when keeping the pH value of the reaction system in the 3-4.The best experimental conditions:the dosage of zero valent iron is100g/L,the initial value of pH was 3.0,the reaction time was 4h.The removal rate of AOX and COD wre 65.3% and 53.6% with the best experimental conditionsThe best method of Enhanced Zero Valent Ironwas that maintain the pH value of the reaction system in 3-4 and adjust the final reaction pH=10.The strengthening methods were zero valent iron dosage was 100g/L,initial pH=3.0,reaction time was 3h,the best AOX removal rate could reach 77.6%.The method ofFe0-H2O2 could greatly improve the removal efficiency of AOX and COD.the concentration of Fe2+in the system was an important factor influencing the removal rate of AOX.the scope of application about pH with Fe0-H2O2was wider than the traditional Fenton.The best experimental conditions:the dosage of zero valent iron was100g/L,the initial value of pH was 3.0,the reaction time was 2hFe0+1hH2O2 and adjust the final reaction pH=10.the removal rate of AOXcould reach 87.5%.Used the Zero Valent Iron,Enhanced Zero Valent Iron and Fe0-H2O2treat the bleach plant effluents,the effect ofZero Valent Iron was the worst and the effect of Fe0-H2O2 was best.The maximum capacity of AOX in the premise of the realization of discharge standards as described belowt:Zero Valent Iron:38mg/L of the general area and 25mg/L of the area taked special protective measures.Enhanced ZeroValent Iron:64mg/L of the general area and 43mg/L of the area taked special protective measures.Fe0-H2O2:122mg/L of the general area and 81mg/L of the area taked special protective measures.
