Fur industry is a pillar industry in Tongxiang country. Fur industry makes great contribution to economic development. However, it brings serious pollution at the same time. The government issued the fur processing industrial water pollutant discharge standards(GB30486-2013) in 2013, and put forward higher requirements on emissions standards. Especially the fur dyeing wastewater contains high concentrations of chromium, and the existing processing methods cannot meet the new emission standard. Therefore, looking for a simple and effective method for removing chromium is of great significance. In this study, a new heavy metal capturing agent containing DTC is synthesized by urea and carbon disulfide. The optimum synthetic conditions are obtained as follows: molar ratio of urea to carbon disulfide to sodium hydroxide is 1.1:2:2.4, reaction temperature is 30°C and reaction time 3.5 hours. In this study, ferrous sulfate is used as pretreatment. The effects ofraw materials consumption, pH, mixing time, settling time, temperature on productivity are investigated. The results show that The concentration of chromium can reduce to 2.48 mg/L under the experiment conditions of pH=7, dosage of Ferrous sulfate about 877mg/L, mixing time 10 minutes, settling time 20 minutes.DTC is used for deep treatment. The effects of raw materials consumption, pH, mixing time, settling time, temperature on productivity are investigated. The results show that The concentration of chromium can reduce to 0.13mg/L under the experiment conditions of pH=8,room temperature, dosage of DTC about 50mg/L, mixing time 6 minutes, settling time 15 minutes.PAC and PAM are very important in the treatment. When PAC 、PAM and DTC used together, the effect of treatment will be better. The dosage of PAC and PAM are 100mg/L and 5mg/L.The results show that when treat the real fur wastewater, the concentration of chromium can reduce to 0.18 mg/L under the optimal conditions. This Treatment effect can meet the new emission standard.
